My first wedding! I was 4 years old. I remember being so stoked to be all dressed up as a flower girl for my Tita’s wedding.

Here I am, scoping out a possible first look location :P

So nice to meet you! I’m so glad you’re here.

If it helps, my name rhymes with Berlin. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

I’ve been a full time photographer since 2013 and am so very grateful to be able to do what I do — especially as a first generation Filipinx American immigrant.

From my years of experience as a documentary birth photographer—I really lean on capturing families, weddings & events as a photojournalist and having photographed over 300 weddings, has refined my documentary storytelling abilities.

As your photographer, my responsibility is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel at ease and well taken care of. And to make sure you also have fun on your wedding day!

My role in your day, along with your wedding team, is to make sure you two get to fully enjoy yourselves & celebrate as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones— All while I manage to photograph what has been happening throughout your day.

I met my husband online, But like on craigslist! And yes you can ask me all about it when we meet. It’s only fair, since I’ve asked you lots of questions on my contact form.

I have a few tattoos and some are more meaningful than others—like my anatomical heart tattoos because my mother’s name was Corazon (and so is my daughter’s).

I’m an introvert-extrovert and I tend to ramble a lot when I get nervous. In emails— I tend to use exclamation points a lot, lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them and delete a few because they probably have one too many!!)

My mom died by suicide when I was 32 weeks pregnant with her first grandchild. Experiencing this loss has shaped who I am today and how I observe and photograph weddings & families.

My memories and photos of her are all that remains. I cherish them.

So, yes photos are very important. As is taking care of yourself and your mental health. Therapy shouldn’t be taboo.

My family: Charlie (my husband), Jackson, Raima Corazon
and Loki - the dog

I love the water - be it oceans, rivers, or the lakes that you’re used to. We do an annual trip to the Yuba river with our chosen family as well as road tripping up to the PNW with a stop at Lake Siskiyou and we all look forward to it every summer.

My beloved Lola dog - I miss her so much!

Some Interesting Facts

  1. My family came to America when I was 4ish years old (that’s my old passport photo) and settled in California

  2. I love carbs and love to bake bread

  3. I was an extra in a lot of B movies as a kid - because my dad worked in production companies.

  4. I am a Libra Sun with Sagittarius Rising

  5. 20 days after foster failing our Lola dog, she gave birth to 11 puppies and we had no idea she was pregnant! I just thought she was dying :( It really felt like that TLC show.

Sorry, I’m an oversharer sometimes.
I’m working really hard to curb that.

Ok enough about me, what about you?

What’s your story?
