Even before the pandemic, I’ve always had a soft spot for elopements and intimate weddings, because I had one myself!

Elopements can be just the two of you (and your officiant and me!) at San Francisco city hall or somewhere along the coast on the beach where you two had your first date or atop Taft point in Yosemite. Skies the limit when you are eloping!

Micro weddings or intimate weddings usually have a guest list of 50 or less.

Wherever you hold your celebration and for how many ever guests you’d like to celebrate with - I’d be happy to help you plan and photograph your day.

What San Francisco City Hall Couples are saying

  • A couple sharing a joyful moment on their wedding day inside a grand building with large windows and ornate architectural details.

“Cherlyn is amazing! She was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding at San Francisco City Hall and really went above and beyond for us, our pictures turned out incredible and we are so happy we entrusted her with our special day.”

  • Two men in suits kissing in front of a city hall entrance with ornate metal framing.

“Cherlyn was phenomenal. She arrived way before our appointment time, and started taking photos. She was incredibly warm and gregarious and made us feel comfortable as soon as we met her at our wedding venue (SF City Hall). She knew the whole process of the SF City Hall wedding intimately and answered all the questions we had and guided us through the check-in and the marriage ceremony. She also knew all little hidden corners of the City Hall and took magical photos with nobody else in the background, as if we were the only ones there! I'd recommend her for any couple!”

  • A couple getting married during a wedding ceremony in an ornate room. The officiant is reading from a paper, and the bride and groom are holding hands in front of seated guests. Guests are taking photos and watching the ceremony.

“Cherlyn was a perfect choice for our San Francisco destination wedding! We live about 400 miles away, so planning was a little *extra* stressful. Cherlyn made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call. We flew up and met her for lunch, and I knew she was the photographer for us. I can’t stress enough how comfortable she made us feel. She was so quick to respond to all of my emails. I had my freak out moments, and Cherlyn's "Don't worry, I got this" confidence really saved me (multiple times). Day of, Cherlyn and her assistant Nikki met me at City Hall and helped coordinate with my husband so we wouldn't see each other before the first look photos. She and Nikki were so efficient that we ended up with enough time to get the family shots done before the ceremony. This left plenty of time post-ceremony to get TONS of beautiful shots all over City Hall. Somehow she managed to make it look like we were the only ones in the entire place! We had rented a trolley to take us and our guests around the city to explore. Nikki herded everyone onto the trolley, they both hopped on, and we got even more amazing candid shots of all of our guests enjoying themselves. We had such a blast that day and Cherlyn captured all of our adventures perfectly. I can't recommend her more!!”

“Cherlyn was available last minute for our San Francisco City Hall wedding. She was a lifesaver! On the day of, she really put us at ease, being familiar with city hall and the whole marriage process there. The photos were great of course, both thanks to her photography and her familiarity with the location. Very thankful that she helped make our special day go so smoothly”
