A Spring wedding at Deer Park Villa
This spring wedding at Deer Park Villa was one of those days that just felt good to be part of. The couple, the energy, the community around them, it all came together in a way that felt thoughtful and grounded from start to finish.
I really loved getting to know these two leading up to the wedding. In a funny, very small-world moment, I had to take my dog in for a checkup and couldn’t get an appointment with our regular vet. I was given a few other options, picked one, and when I showed up, it turned out the bride worked there. Maybe I subconsciously remembered we had talked about pets and that she was a vet tech, or maybe it was just the universe doing its thing. Either way, it made me smile, and now I get to see her whenever our pup has an appointment and she happens to be working.
One thing that really stood out about this wedding was how intentional the couple was with their vendor choices. They made a point to support family-run businesses and BIPOC-owned vendors, and you could feel that shared value reflected back at them throughout the day.
