Winter Elopement | Bay Area Elopement Photography

This winter elopement was a sweet and stylish way to close out the season. The day felt calm, intentional, and grounded, with a focus on being present rather than performing for a schedule. The bride’s look leaned very vintage chic, which set such a beautiful tone for the day and paired perfectly with the slower, more intimate pace of a winter elopement.

The couple found me through a referral, which I’m always deeply grateful for. Community connections are often what lead me to these quieter, more meaningful celebrations, and it’s something I value deeply in the work I do.

This elopement took place in the East Bay, and I photograph elopements throughout the Bay Area, including courthouse ceremonies across Northern California, not just San Francisco City Hall. Winter elopements in particular tend to move at a slower pace, with fewer distractions and more space to focus on what actually matters. This day leaned fully into that energy.

Moments like this are a reminder that time is fleeting and worth documenting as it is. Simple, honest, and real. That’s always the intention behind the way I photograph elopements, whether they take place at a courthouse, outdoors, or somewhere in between.

Below are highlights from this Bay Area winter elopement, photographed with a documentary approach.
