Year in Review | Peace out 2020 & Peace IN 2021

Well.. here it is, the very last bit of 2020. I don’t know how exactly to put into words and to express all that I feel, that I have experienced - and like many, continue to. We all have gone through this LOOOONG and challenging year, and while many are rejoicing that it is FINALLY coming to an end - if only it were that easy for the actual problems & issues of 2020 to end and be resolved as easily as ringing in the new year. I know, we know- that’s not the case, of course, but we can and shall- continue on - to keep people accountable, keep speaking up, do what we can and what is right, allow others to hold space, help one another, have hope..

Anyway . . . Here are just some snippets of 2020.

I am SO GRATEFUL to have been able to have worked a little bit in 2020, when outdoor businesses like mine could resume- safely, always masked and socially distanced, of course. Heck, I even took a course and became a Covid-19 compliance officer for tv & film production. I also did start to work with other small businesses with their branding and product photography. But no joke, times were sometimes - rough. But sprinkled throughout this year, there were some great things too.

Another thing I do take away from this is while we are apart, we are definitely stronger together - supporting one another. I have seen and felt sooo much support. Even when my finances weren’t solid - I reached out, donated, purchased and help supported other small businesses and artists - and will continue to. I hope you do too.
