A note from me about this beautiful wedding & wonderful couple: I first met Cyrus, the groom and a photographer himself- at a wedding workshop by Jonas Peterson. I instantly could tell how warm and kind Cyrus was, just from that first meeting and hanging out with him during the workshop. We chatted about our approach and how finding Jonas’ work helped our own abilities to tell and visually capture a story. Fast forward to getting an email years after this (we still kept in touch here and there by way of social media/instagram posts) and he reached out about me possibly capturing his wedding. And to say I was beyond thrilled and honored is an understatement. From their friends and family, from just being around them all - I could feel the light, the warmth - like that very comforting hug from someone you hadn’t seen in awhile and are so very grateful to get to see again. It was just, lovely.

After their wedding in Los Angeles, I received a handwritten thank you note.. and was brought to tears. They are just such wonderful people. And the kind of feeling one gets, in this line of work - to feel like, how very grateful and lucky I am to do this and get to do this for amazing humans like Cyrus + Beverly.
